Great service from my technician, Bret Cross-Coe. He did a full safety inspection, changed a light fixture, replaced 2 outside outlets, added a surge protector to my panel and repaired a cut grounding wire to my house. Bret was efficient, showed me any concerns, explained what he was doing and answered any questions. Super nice man and very good at what he does. So happy with the service. Will be calling again for any work needed.

I called Mr. Electric to obtain a quote to install an electrical outlet over the stove and installation of ceiling fans in the two of the bedrooms. Our appointment was on a Saturday between 9-10am, the electriction James called about 8:45am and said that he was on his way, he arrived at 9:00am. We talked with James about our concerns with the electric. We had found that when our house was built they failed to put an outlet in the cupboard above the stove for the range hood and/or microwave and instead had "hardwired" the microwave. This was "discovered" when we tried to replace our "blown" microwave. James explained to us that "hardwiring" a microwave was against code and it needed to be on it's own electrical line (wired directly to the circuit breaker box). James addressed all of our issues and provided us with a detailed quote for the work, we talked about which items were more important and which ones could wait to a later date. We called Mr. Electric on the following Tuesday to set the appointment to start the work. Our appointment was for the following Monday between 8-9am. Again James called us when he was about 15 minutes away and showed up right on time. We discussed which jobs we wanted to have completed that day and he went right to work! While James was working on installing the outlet above the stove we asked him how much it would cost to install a new microwave, he quoted us $125 which may seem high for just an install but it was worth it to us because we didn't have to fight with removing the old microwave and installing the new one (which had different anchor points!). We also asked him how much it would cost to install a new ceiling fan in the master bedroom, again James provided a reasonable quote for the additional work. James was in our home for the entire day, from 8am to 3:15pm and worked steady the entire time. He didn't take breaks or a lunch. He was very professional and pleasent to be around. James completed the following work for us: Installed new electrical outlet over the stove, removed old non-working microwave and installed new stanless steel microwave. This job required James to run new wiring through the wall and into the basement to the breaker box. Installed two new 46" ceiling fans w/lights in upstairs bedrooms, There was no existing ceiling fixtures, which required James to run new electric sources in the ceiling from the attic. He also added an additional wall switch for each fan (upgraded from 1 switch to 2) in order to have 1 switch control the fan and the other for just the lights. Removed and replaced 52" ceiling fan in master bedroom. Troubleshot security light on back of house. Removed and replaced with new security/flood light. Removed and replaced broken outside outlets, installed new "bubble" (weather-proof) outlets.

my experience with mr.electric was great. i had never used them before. i found them on angie's list. i would not hesitate to use them again and to highly recommend them to anyone else. <br /> mike came out on time and was most informative about my problems with several outlets not working. he tested my electrical system and found a couple gfis that were tripped and he reset them. he was at my home about 20 minutes. he was most pleasant. he did not charge me. <br /> <br />
