I look forward to being a part of stories to your grandkids!!! My old cabin had serious issues from previous DIY home owners. They went over the top in trying to find a problem that literally felt impossible to solve. Not only did they get it solved but they taught me exactly how to spot the issue and what to look for with other issues. I was truly blown away by their ability to keep things light while dealing with really difficult stuff. I actually had fun hanging with all of them too. Gary Pliler from Mr. Electric responded quickly to our call for our malfunctioning fire alarm system. He identified the issue (end of life devices) and explained thoroughly what are options were. He did a safety check, and returned the next day to install nine new 10 year devices. (And, restored our sanity because the continuous beeping drove us crazy!) Highly recommend Mr. Electric for prompt, professional service (another company, unReliable Electric, didn’t even return our call). Ask for Gary Pliler at Mr. Electric for expert electrical fixes. Let's focus on the good first: – Service is fantastic. They are professional and know what they are doing. They don't do things half heartedly. I do have some CS/EE background and was dealing with a very confusing house wiring. Not only the technical fixed the issue, he even took the time to explain things for me and help me understand what is going on in my house wiring. He also helped me solve a 2 year old mystery which was my bathroom fan's erratic behavior which lead to fixing some problems. The thing to look out for: While their pricing is fair for large jobs, the minimum they can charge adds up to around $460. I presume this is just the nature of running a business and having employees to pay. That means if you bring them over to do something as simple as installing a light switch, it will still cost you about $460. So make sure the job you have for them is large enough to actually worth the price you are paying for. In my case the technician even offered things he can do to make the price worth it for me which I really really appreciated. They go out of their way to make your money worth. All said, I will definitely consider their service again. I am very happy with the work they have done.

Mr. Electric came in as the lowest of three bids for a new wire run for a car charger in our garage, as well as a high voltage line for a heat pump water heater. They even kept their initial estimate price after 90 days when we were dragging our feet on the install. They did quick and clean work and even set up the EVSE after running the line, which was above and beyond what I was expecting. I highly recommend Mr. Electric!
