  • Very happy with Mr. Electric. I had a GFCI outlet pop and wouldn’t reset. I filled out the contact form on the website in the evening and they called me first thing in the morning. They worked around my schedule for the day and got an electrician (James) out to my home the same day. He put everything right quickly and even gave me a little lesson in how the outlets work. Will use them again and recommend.

  • Buying a fixer-upper can be fun but also frustrating and expensive. There is a lot to do when you first move in and you just keep prioritizing! Seems our garage outlets were not grounded, and my son wanted a sub-panel to be located in the detached garage. I called Mr. Electric of Olympia and spoke with Shane! She was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and set up a consultation with their estimator. Sean came out within a day or so and we walked him around and he was also friendly and very knowledgeable. He pointed out that our meter was very outdated and no longer to code and the electrical box in the house was at its max. He wrote up the estimate to replace and fix all to code and I was again speaking with Shane to arrange a time for the team to come out. Tim and Mike arrived on time and immediately began to dig the trench and replace the meter and pole. Later Tim went inside and worked on the breaker box in the house and then in the garage. It was quite the project and it took them a couple of days to get it all installed and corrected. Both Tim and Mike were thoughtful and respectful of our property and made sure to keep the gate closed for our dog Ranger. Then I was speaking with Shane again as she explained the next step which was to have it inspected by the State Inspector. Each time I called Mr. Electric I either got Jane or Shane and these ladies are amazing at their jobs! The second inspector just left – one inspector for the house and a different inspector for the garage – and Shane has arranged for the team to come back out tomorrow and fill in the ditch!   • I had to have my power junction box replaced…it had been installed in 1963. I needed to update it for a new well. Sean came out to give me an estimate the same day that I called, and the quote was more than reasonable. They lined up a working day that PSE could disconnect on…and they were on time. They ran into a bit of a problem with the old mast and meter box…just too old to rewire and seperate. But Steve and Alfred installed a new mast, brought my well line, main power line, and ground line through the bottom of the junction box….and it looks clean. They really did a superb job. I highly recommend them. Update 11/09/2020: It turned out that the city has a new code that syas all new power boxes have to have a surge protector. So I got a call regarding that this morning and they will be out tomorrow. Since it’s a code that popped up, Shane took off half the price. Great customer service! Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading

  • We had some major damage done to our house by a windstorm. Chad came over so quickly after it happened and got us on their schedule immediately. Daniel, the actual technician who worked on our house, was amazing and helpful even though he had to give us bad news. He and his apprentance worked until 9pm, outside, in the dark, in the cold, just to get the job done for us! We have also appreciated how much they have worked directly with our insurance company. They are real advocates for safety in the home and making sure things get done correctly the first time. We will choose them for any and all future needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work, emergency or otherwise!
