I give a 5 here but make sure you read all of this. Setting up this visit was efficient and dispatch did a good to great job with communication. I knew what I needed in a purchased home, and it was minimal. I gave clear requirements for 3 issues I did not have time to address and eventually 1 of 3 items was completed. Before that happened, dispatch called and one technician said they were not senior enough to do the task. Upon arrival the technician was polite and knowledgeable about some items. He immediately did an assessment that they noted was necessary. The 3 items were potentially easy. 2 Low voltage and 1 light change. Low voltage was rerunning a cable for internet and a doorbell wire extension. The normal was putting a light back on the mailbox. 1) Mailbox was a bust. Why? could not figure out where it terminated and had no toner. Toner was not standard equipment. Disappointing, but I will deal with it later. 2) In looking at the doorbell wire it was potentially difficult, and although the technician determined a way they could do it the price was 6 times higher than I would have expected. I turned the solution down. 3) For the cable extension, my net provider could have done it for free, but instead I paid multiple hours of labor for a minimal amount of work. I was happy to check something off, but the cost was way over the top. My advice, this is a good company, but the costs need to reflect realistic rates and not be so much that everyone dislikes you immediately. Find a way to do more cost-effective work and you will get long term business and repeat business. Still, the tech was great, and he was positive and knowledgeable in the areas he worked in. By the way, the techs suggestion after his breaker box review, was, well, wow. Reallllly high. Sorry, wont be doing that with them, but if you need a job done fast, they are quick.

This past week I had electrical services completed by (2) electricians from Mr. Electric — Baylon and Hayden! They were both exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and conscientious, going above and beyond to complete the repairs. The work included bringing my home up to electrical code and installing an inside electrical switch/outlet. They both worked tirelessly throughout the long day, working into the evening to ensure all work was completed. I have used other companies during my 20 years in Huntsville, but have not been pleased, so searched online and found Mr. Electric. From my initial call to inquire about scheduling a repair estimate, to the final work that was performed by Baylon and Hayden, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND both of them at Mr. Electric of Huntsville. It was gratifying to see the strong work ethic of these 2 young men and will definitely be contacting Mr. Electric in the future for additional electrical services and request Baylon and Hayden! My sincere appreciation and thanks to both of you for a job well done!!!

The communication was excellent. I was informed from the beginning when my appointment was scheduled by text message, email, and a phone call. The work was explained as to what the issues could be and the repairs that would be done. They made sure I was aware of the charges would be before work was to begin. The technicians (Patrick and Jordan) were excellent, very polite and professional. I will be using Mr. Electric again for my electrical needs.
