Mr. Electric is great! Everyone is helpful, kind, professional, and quick. From the person who answers the phone to set the appointment, to Mr. Davis who came out to add an electrical outlet. Would recommend to anyone who needs an electrician.

Had a very positive experience with Mr. Electric today. Scheduling and appointment communication was very good. Josh Tubbs was the electrician who performed the job at my home and he receives 5 stars as well. Josh was very thorough and took the extra time to answer many questions and provide written material for reference. Thank you Josh, and others at Mr. Electric of Huntsville.

We have a new air conditioning unit. On two occasions, a breaker has flipped and cut off the unit. It usually happens when we are out of town and it is hot outside. We had the unit checked by the local company that installed it. They said two breakers were hot and may have been damaged or the circuits had too much current going through and they may need to be replaced. I called Mr. Electric and made an appointment for several days later. I was advised who was coming and when and he showed up on time. He analyzed the problem and concluded the circuit board in our townhouse had several breakers installed that were not designed for the type of circuit board installed when the house was constructed. Also, a wire going to the air conditioning unit was insufficient for the amount of current it needed to be able to handle. He recommended we install a new circuit board that could handle "tandem breakers" similar to the ones that had been installed when new appliances were put into the house. Upon reflection, we have installed a number of new appliances, in addition to a new air conditioning system, including high definition large TV screens, computers, convection oven, new dishwasher and others after purchasing the townhouse. While the circuit board worked well with the older equipment, the additional load was too much for the breakers and circuit board designed for less of a load. Mr. Electric brought in a new circuit board, installed all new breakers, ran a wire through the attic to the outside air conditioning unit and tested the connections. It was a big job and they were here from about 11:30 until 8 PM, including the time to go pick up breakers that were the wrong kind and had been delivered for them to install. The installer (Spencer) returned the next morning to finish installing the correct breakers. I told him I had a conference call at 9 AM. He said he would be finished before that. He called about 7:30 AM and said he was on his way. He finished the job before 8:30 AM as he had promised to do. The electrical box was installed neatly and they cleaned up afterward. There is hole in the wall that has to be patched where a wire was run. We are to hear from the company in the next several days and someone else will come and patch the wall. The employees with whom we dealt were polite, professional and knowledgeable and took the time to answer numerous questions. The electricity is running perfectly. No more hot breakers and, no doubt, a safer system that will continue running during hot weather as the correct parts have been installed.
