Mr. Stephen Congo was a tremendous help. He stayed several hours to change all smoke detectors and help me understand how squirrels have dangerously chewed through our outdoor wiring. He spoke to HSV Utilities on my behalf about what they need to do urgently. I appreciated his expertise, experience, and helpful attitude. Thank you.

Over the last 16 years we have used Mr Electric for all sorts of big and little things. Installing something new and repairing something broken. Well recently I finally decided to call to get two outside GFI's that had stopped working repaired. The appointment was made quickly and when I wanted. They had one that next morning but it was not convenient for us. The scheduler on the phone call was pleasant and easy to understand. We received confirmation texts of the appointment and that the technician was on their way. Tanner arrived and was very professional and presented himself well. I showed him the issues I was having and he verified the problem. Since one GFI was weather exposed I asked if there was a better bubble cover. He gave me a quote immediately. Tanner set about repairing. Due to his concern that we had two GFI's fail he inspected the panel. What he found was bad and a safety hazard. There had been at one time a surge that had hit the panel. Additionally, he noted that many neutral wires were attached to a screw instead of one wire per screw. The wires looked a jumble too. We asked him to inspect the entire house for any additional concerns. He noted a few issues — mostly minor, also that per code we are to have 2 grounding rods but only had one. He also found that two other of our exterior GFIs were also non-functional. Asked for his recommendation on what work should be done and now to protect the house better from surges. He put together a list of things and the pricing. He explained each issue and recommended repair/upgrade. While clearly we were not thrilled to have such an expensive project ahead when we thought we were just going to have a quick repair, it was very clear damage had occurred and we needed to repair and protect. Especially our recently replaced HVAC system. $8600. YIKES but vs blowing the HVAC or a house fire… Arranged to have him return in 2 days. It would be a full days work. He came promptly and began work. Advising us at each step what was happening. Blessedly mother nature decided to gift us with low 70s and mostly overcast versus our recent upper 90s. Job started at 7:30, restored power at 12:30, finished all work and cleanup by 4PM. They even hooked up our garage fridge to they inverter to protect our goods. The clean up with well done. Tanner the senior technician was superbly professional and hardworking. His young assistant Brody was fast and efficient and also presented himself professionally. I will definitely request them for any next job we might need done by Mr. Electric. Both men represented their skills and their company exceptionally well. Mr. Electric should be proud to have them. PS: as expected my new panel would need everything labeled, and it is and nicely readable too! PSS: while in the attic working a very very challenge item one of the guys lost their balance and thank goodness 1) was okay and 2) didn't come through! The guys came to check for damage, sadly yes about a 2' crack. But Tanner told me that they have a company that will contact me in a day or two to arrange to come and repair it including matching the paint. I'll update that when done. This does not in anyway diminish how happy we are with the work and the job. Our attic space is massively high (15') and the item they needed to get to was all the way up there. So glad the guys were okay.

I am a customer of Mr. Electric. When I called Mr. Electric about a question, they sent someone out in a timely manner on the same day. Gagg was very nice, patient and understanding. He helped me resolve my concern. He was friendly and down to earth. The city was repaving my street. He had to park up the road from my home and walk across the hot pavement to get to my house. I really appreciate him and Mr. Electric for their service.
