Good response time and servicing. However, my Generac generator has not been reliable standby power. Had to replace the control module twice since new just 4 years ago. Also now running on a third battery. Replaced the starter. Multiple error codes and resets. I heard a Generac Tech person tell the service guy that low voltage could be the problem. A full house interrupt was installed when the generator was new. Generac should build in protection and alerts for low voltage. I have lost confidence in this generator. There are three other Generac generators nearby and none are having problems. There are also two Cummins generators nearby with no issues. Is mine a lemon? I just bought the extended warranty for the Balance of 10 years from install after paying for the third controller. At least Generac can participate in the repair costs until they decide to replace this lemon.
