  • I had a problem with I thought a ballast in a ceiling fixture in one of the rooms in my home. I did not have a regular electrician so I went to Angis (formerly Angis List). Popped up were 5 outfits that could do the work, the first being Mr. Electric of Highland Park. As this was a Sunday, I figured no one would get back to me until a day or two later. I was wrong, for within a couple of minutes I received a call from Mr. Ken Wiesman, owner of Mr. Electric. He had a last minute cancellation and could have technician Daniel Smith come out the following morning. Daniel not only came as scheduled, but arrived 20 minutes earlier (something I was not use to in my decades of home ownership). Daniel was quite pleasant, cordial and certainly knew his stuff as an electrician. He fixed the problem. I must say, I took a chance with retaining Mr. Electric (never heard of them before), but it worked out PERFECTLY!! Cudos to Ken but certainly to Daniel. If anyone ever needs a residential handy person electrical outfit that focuses on residential needs, I have no hesitancy recommending them based on my experience with Daniel!!’
