  • This was by far the best home repair service I’ve ever experienced. We dreaded this one the most because we knew it was a very detailed job so we were very cautious with who we went with. So glad we chose them. It was hwee and his son. They were extremely professional, on time, worked very long hrs and assured our power was turned back on and he took great pride in his work. Left their work space and my yard neat and tidy. I couldn’t be happier with their work. 20/10 would recommend to anyone.

  • The lights were flickering and parts of my home would not have power. I called my electric company. They checked a few things on their side(loose connections, ground wire etc.). They didn’t find anything wrong with any connections to my home. My wife and I began searching for an electrician. There is one thing, I would highly suggest. That is you check with the state licensing department web site. There was one person to respond to my wife’s Facebook post. When I asked the types of payments he would accept. He said cash app, Venmo etc. His service call was $60.00 and that had to paid before he came. I asked him for state license number. This guy said he wasn’t home and did not have it on him. I told thanks for his time. To which he responded “ you not interested in my help”, have you read the reviews on my site. I advised him, I have. I asked him once more to provide me with his state license number. He did not give it to me. I thanked him for his time ended the call. His site looked fake and it appeared he is using some other company’s name and possible reviews. My wife stumbled across Mr. Electric. I looked at Mr. Electric website and his license was listed. I had found other certified electricians, but they told me, it would be 3 weeks before they can come and check my home. I went back to the state licensing website. Mr. Electric license is listed and it was current. I called Mr. Electric and I spoke to a lady named Georgia and explained what was going on with my home. She said it sounded like an open neutral or bad ground. She said they can be at home in 3 days. I told her that was fine. I have solar grid and the problem didn’t appear while my home was running on solar. I did some researched on my issue, while waiting for my service appointment. I called the power company again and explained my concern about a loose connection. The power company, sent a lineman out to recheck the power company connections. He discovered an issue in my service main breaker. I fixed that issue. When Tio arrived, I explained to him. What I did. I also explained, I had two circuits that wasn’t working. I explained to Tio, I have a solar grid. That did not bother him at all. When I mentioned to other electricians, that I have a solar grid, they seemed very hesitant to help me. I am glad, Tio didn’t give me that impression. Tio was dressed in a clean and neat uniform. He was very patient with me, while explaining all my issues. He also help me understand my problem with my service main better. He checked the circuits that wasn’t working. Come to find out, I had a bad test meter, which gave me the wrong readings. I had been trying to figure out what was wrong with these circuits for a long time. Tio replaced the outlet (GFCI) and that restored power to that outlet and the other electrical outlet that wasn’t working. Tio explained how the connection between, the first and second outlet, he also gave me brief explanation on electrical code and requirements. Tio rechecked my main breaker in my home and he also rechecked my repair at the service main breaker outside. Everything was good. No flickering lights, no power loss in my home. I felt like Tio, went above and beyond in this service call. You are probably wondering what I paid. I will not list that because every job is different. Remember this, Tio is certified, licensed, bonded and insured. You are paying a professional and not some shade tree electrician. For me, it was well worth the price I paid. I would recommend Tio to anyone who is having any electrical problems.

Frequently Asked Questions About EV Charger Installation in Sandersville, Georgia

The safety of you, your family, and home are the top priority of every local Mr. Electric service professional. Our safety-first commitment to solving your electrical issues includes a meticulous attention to detail on every job. Our commitment also includes using our years of experience to answer your questions. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our electrician services in Sandersville, Georgia.

  • Mr. Electric is your trusted expert for electric vehicle charger installation in Sandersville. Our team installs a wide variety of chargers, from hardwired high-amperage units to plug-in models and Wi-Fi-enabled smart chargers with load-sharing features. A 32—40A charger is ideal for daily drivers covering less than 40 miles. However, if you drive longer distances or have multiple EVs, a 48—60A charger offers faster, more efficient charging. Renters often select plug-in chargers connected to a NEMA 14-50 outlet for their ease of installation and mobility. Homeowners who need fast, reliable charging typically prefer hardwired EV charger installations in Sandersville, Georgia. Not sure which EV fits your routine? Consult with a Mr. Electric electrician near you. We’ll assess your electrical panel, handle permits, and ensure your EV charger is installed to meet both your needs and local regulations.

  • Most EV chargers need a dedicated 240V circuit to avoid tripping breakers or interfering with other appliances. While Level 1 chargers can usually be plugged into an existing outlet, they charge at a significantly slower rate. A panel upgrade is required only when your panel is full or cannot handle the additional load. If your panel is near capacity, options like load management devices, smart chargers that throttle during peak demand, or repurposing an existing 240V circuit can help you avoid an upgrade. Planning for a second EV or future upgrades? A 200A service upgrade can future‑proof your home, streamline permitting, and support additional high‑demand appliances. A qualified Mr. Electric professional can assess your panel’s capacity and suggest the most appropriate and cost-efficient solution for your EV charger installation in Sandersville.

  • Yes—most areas require an electrical permit and a final inspection for an EV charger installation. The installer provides a load calculation and plan, and an inspector checks the dedicated circuit, breaker size, and code compliance. For those living in a condo, apartment, or within an HOA, you may need to obtain written approval from the association or property manager, in addition to a municipal permit. Utilities and insurers may also ask for proof of a permitted installation to qualify for rebates or maintain coverage. In the case of panel upgrades, new circuits, or modifications to service capacity, additional permits or coordination with your utility provider may be necessary. Every EV charger installation in Sandersville must follow the proper steps for safety and compliance. A Mr. Electric professional in Sandersville, Georgia, will take care of all the details, from handling the permits to installation to coordinating the inspection.

  • The first step of EV charger installation in Sandersville is a code-compliant design plan. This involves precise electrical load calculations and a comprehensive panel assessment to ensure your home’s system can support an EV charger safely and reliably. Once the plan is in place and permits have been secured, a Mr. Electric service professional will install a dedicated circuit tailored to your charger’s load. We set all connections to manufacturer torque specifications and ensure proper system bonding. If needed, we’ll install whole-home surge protection to help safeguard your EVSE and your vehicle’s charging system. Our electricians use only UL-listed components. We’ll ensure the grounding meets code and install required GFCI protection for any garage or outdoor EV charger locations. We can provide extra protection for outdoor EV charger installations in Sandersville, like weather-rated enclosures (NEMA 3R/4), sealed conduit assemblies with drip loops, correct mounting height, and clearances for safe ventilation and convenient accessibility. Before energizing the system, we label the breaker for easy identification, confirm that the panel capacity is sufficient, and test the new circuit so you can begin charging your EV with confidence. For electric car charger installation in Sandersville, turn to your local Mr. Electric professionals.

  • Yes. Mr. Electric professionals in Sandersville can troubleshoot your EV charging station and replace damaged or aging parts, including cables, connectors, holsters, and breakers. Our electricians work with most brands and models and complete repairs that align with local codes. If your charger is tripping breakers, overheating, or suddenly offline, our team can provide urgent troubleshooting. We prioritize safety and compliance, performing a full inspection of your charger, circuit, and panel before replacing any components. We also take care of code-related corrections like GFCI protection, breaker sizing, and load calculations. After the repair, we handle any required permitting and confirm performance with calibrated testing. We’ll ensure every repair or replacement keeps your EV charger safe and compliant with current codes.
