Very good called them explained I wanted GFCI to be installed. They booked me in for next day morning. Technician called me said he would be there in 30 minutes came on time. Elijah was the technician did a great job fitting four GFCI’s . Would rate the experience with this company 11 out of 10👍

I can’t say enough great things about Mr. Electric and especially their electrician Carleton. From start to finish, he was honest, polite, genuine, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to do a full review of the electrical status in both my home and my shed, clearly explained the issues he found, and—most importantly—never tried to upsell me on anything unnecessary. He completed all the work as discussed and checked in with me throughout the day to keep me updated. When everything was finished, Carleton walked me through all the completed work and patiently answered every question I had. I haven’t had the best experiences with electricians in the past, but after this visit, I can confidently say I’ve finally found one of the great ones—and a company I trust. Carleton has a fantastic attitude, takes pride in his work, and it truly shows. He came highly recommended by my neighbor, and I’m very glad I took that referral. I would absolutely recommend him and this company to anyone needing electrical work.

Top notch fellas, with top notch work! These employees, Daniel Barker and his team spent their Christmas Eve morning replacing almost every single outlet in my home within an hour! They were precise with every movement they made throughout my home making sure all my belongings around their small work spaces would be handled with care. Even wearing covers on their shoes to protect my flooring. Communicating every single detail along the way! Their safety check was very helpful to know what work your home may need! Highly Pleased with this very professional staff! All the staff was very interactive with my 10 year old son, answering any and every question he could ask. They were also interactive with our very large dog. Dog owners can always appreciate that! We couldn’t recommend anyone better than these guys right here! Will use and recommend this company as much as we can.

I found this company using one of the home advisory sites. When I posted my needs, they were very quick to respond and offer their services. I liked that the company is a locally owned franchise of a group of companies under the Neighborly family of home service providers. I had not heard of them before but a little research helped me understand the business model. My home is almost 40 years old and has never had an electrical upgrade. While I didn’t plan on replacing the electrical panel, when Carlton arrived to look at the work I needed, he made several excellent suggestions to solve my problems. He also showed me how degraded the panel had become in the 40 years of service. Corrosion, unlabeled switches, and it was completely full so no additions could be made. I decided to get it replaced. Carlton did an estimate and made a great offer which I accepted. The day of the work arrived and he and a co-worker replaced the panel, labeled everything, then installed a floodlight and an outside electrical box, replaced an outdoor wall light and prepared for the installation of a new post light. I found Carlton to be an excellent representative of his company. He is knowledgeable, efficient, capable, and cheerful. I told his office that I thought he was a sweetheart. I really would whole heartily recommend Mr. Electric of Gastonia. In fact, I have an estimate for some additional work I want done and fully expect to use them again shortly.
