On Monday August 16th, a truck carrying a bulldozer hit and knocked down the utility pole that supplied electric power to my home and my daughter's mobile home around 11:00 A.M. I had assumed that when I heard the loud explosions and lost power that the cause was the weather as it was raining very hard with gusty winds. Shortly after that there was a knock at my door and a Jones-Onslow technician told me about the actual cause and from that point on, Jones-Onslow technicians worked until late afternoon in driving rain and wind and to my amazement, replaced the pole, installed a new transformer, and restored power to the mobile home. In my case, when the pole fell, it ripped the meter panel and connection box off of my house so they could not restore power, but they did do everything needed for restoration of power when the panel was replaced. I called a local electrical service, Mr. Electric, and, again, in spite of winds and heavy downpours with a steady rain, the meter panel and connection box was reattached to my home, ready for re-connection. I have been with Jones-Onslow for more than 30 years and have never been disappointed with their service, repairs or any other issue. If I knew anyone contemplating moving to this area, I would tell them to select a location served by Jones-Onslow….simply said, Quality service, caring people and very professional. I will also use Mr. Electric for future requirements…Kudos to all who participated

From making the call to Byron (electrician) at my door was just over an hour. Upon his arrival he assets the issue and was complete within 30 min. Knowledgeable and informed me of every step that was taken along with providing extra information regarding the electrical layout of the area. I cannot express enough about how awesome the of working with the guys at Mr Electric. I have used numerous electricians over the years doing remodels etc and this was the absolute most professional group I have ever encountered. They were on time for the estimate and they were on time for the actual work. Everything I was told from cost to the length of the job was dead on accurate. Bobby was a professional and answered each time I called and had a question. Very smart and very professional. I most certainly will use them in the future and already have plans to have a in home generator installed based on the job they just completed.
