A freak windstorm at the end of July 2019 resulted in a huge tree toppling to the ground and in the process, yanking the electrical service from the house and damaging the siding in the process of the destruction. The power company restored the service as a temporary solution, effectively applying a bandaid and recommended that the power service be relocated. Due to the age of the house (40+ years), in order to relocate the service, it was necessary to bring the service up to current local code. This necessitated installing a new circuit breaker box, arc fault/ground fault circuits and installing a weatherhead/riser on the house exterior along with a new power meter. The electrician, Darrin Jones, was very knowledgeable and professional, answering questions in laymen terms and describing each task as the process evolved. With the exception of the local power company responding in a timely manner to dropping the new lines, the whole process was smooth as butter and educational to me as the home owner. Darrin's WOW service went beyond the scope of the job as I now have an electrical outlet located next to my gas dryer rather than stretching the cord to the nearest electrical outlet across the room. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Mr. Electric to anyone, regardless of the complexity of the work. All communications, email and telephonic, were answered in a timely and professional manner. The city inspector raved highly at the quality of the workmanship, making the process run that much smoother. Thanks, Mr. Electric!!

Chris was great in explaining what the problem was: we had previously installed a whole home surge protect but it had never been grounded properly (at all that is ).
