Shannon was very professional and extremely friendly. She got right to work and solved the problem in a relatively short amount of time. We liked the fact that the final product was great, and Christopher was great to work with. The fact that we had to always go through the main office was frustrating, though. After a few phone calls we were able to get things squared away. Good electricians are hard to come by. They were able to schedule the project in 2-3 days. For that we are thankful.

In the middle of winter in house with all electric heat and your living room + bed room heaters go out because of a blown circuit. Not a good spot to be in especially with snow on the way. I called 4 different local NE Portland electricians, 3 of them were booked out and couldn't schedule my residential repair for at least 2 weeks because they were busy working on "big jobs." That was pretty frustrating as the temperature was dropping and we needed an electrician today, not 2 weeks from now! Mr. Electric was the only company out of the 4 I called that could send an electrician out within 2 days, and they did. The receptionist on the phone told me their minimum charge for a service call which was fine. When the electrician showed up (Richard) he was professional, intelligent and a pleasure to work with. He even replaced one of my burnt out wall outlets, which was nice of him. After that he mapped out a proposal for me to keep the circuits from breaking or overloading on my circuit breaker. I consider that above and beyond since he took the time to go beyond the service call and gave me a solution for the future. When it's time for that electrical upgrade I will definitely be calling Mr. Electric back!

This was my first time hiring an electrician, so I was a bit nervous and skeptical… I know electrical work can be really spendy. My uncle was an electrician, so I never needed to hire one, till he had a stroke and could no longer do electrical work. Mr. Electric and more specifically our electrician, Daryl Ham, pleasantly surprised me. Daryl literally looked high and low to find the root of our electrical problem that was causing half of our house's electricity not to work. He was professional, friendly and honest… he even gave us a $20 bill he found on the floor of our garage! Our electricity was fixed within 2 hours, it was a hard problem to diagnose, one even my uncle (with years of experience) couldn't figure out. What a huge relief to find a good and honest electrician! I highly recommend Mr. Electric and Daryl, I will be using them again for any of my future electrical needs.

I had opportunity recently to observe the completion of several generator projects for a client. I was present at each site during the installation process to assure that my client's interests would be properly served, and I had contracted with Mr. Electric of Portland to conduct the installation work. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of expertise and professionalism demonstrated, throughout each project, by the electricians and technicians performing the installations. I especially appreciated that they were willing and able to complete the entire installation, including generator delivery, off-load and placement, followed by installation and connection of all related electrical equipment and wiring ,and; all related gas piping and connections, eliminating need to involve additional contractors. The Mr. Electric personnel were efficient and obviously experienced and, as a result of their efforts, all 4 projects were completed in record time and without problems. I am working with my client to arrange several additional generator projects and, as soon as I have authorization to proceed, I will not hesitate to arrange to have Mr. Electric of Portland complete each of these additional projects.
