Dispatcher was friendly and helpful. They were able to get an electrician out same day. Electrician was very professional. Explained everything to me. Even cleaned up the breaker box and replaced any incorrect connectors. A tad more expensive than I thought it would be but %100 worth the money.

Last night, the power went out and our generator kicked in as per usual. When the power came back on, the generator continued to run. I spent afew hours researching to see what I could do, and in the end, I had to called the Generac hotline in the morning. They recommended 3 warrantee repair companies to call locally to come look at my generator which was still under warranty. They said that it was potentially a faulty transition switch as when I turned the generator off manually it cut the power to the house and didnt recognize I still had hydro. I called all 3 companies at 8 AM in the morning. The only one that called back despite having said it was an emergency on their answering machine, was Mr. Electric. Their electrician, Stephen, asked me to take some photos of my electrical panels after I gave him the details of the problem and what steps I already had taken to resolve it. He assured me he would help me troubleshoot the situation and save me a potentially costly call out if I was willing to try a few things under his instruction over the phone. He happened to be home sick as well and said he would come if we couldn't resolve it over the phone as well… as a last resort- which was comforting and reassuring that he would go to those measures. I sent him the photos via text and he was immediately able to identify what the problem was and he walk me through it to fix it. This saved everybody a lot of trouble for a call out on a Saturday. My noisy generator finally was able to shut off with it killing all my lights and power in the house and he also said he would do some research and get back to me so the next power outage I could be assured that the problem was resolved. He was very professional, understood my frustrations and even offered to assess a few other concerns I had with my exterior electrical. I felt like he was definately on my side and was so grateful that he was able to resolve my generator-power issues. He was so willing to help and I really hope he gets paid for his time by Generac for the service call time he took and the fact that he called me back regardless of being sick to help me out when none of the others did. I will defi ately use Stephen to resolve some of the other electrical issues I have! He definitely deserves 5 stars!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
