    Used their Baton Rouge Service. Very satisfied with service and their certified electrician Mr. Ben Reier and staff, including a dispatcher named Mrs. Rita and Shawn or Sean on telephone when answering questions and updating status of permit and job. They were able to make certain work was done correctly and permitted with this new City of St. George Code Enforcement in East Baton Rouge Parish. They installed a Main Breaker/Emergency Shutoff Breaker and Panel on front of my townhouse with surge protection and proper grounding. Thank you. Fast and professional service, fair price.

    Inspection and estimate were completed by Kenny Hollis. Installation was performed by Kenny H., Kyle, and Caden. Due to a full HVAC upgrade, I also required a major electrical upgrade on an older home built in 1940. The house had two outdated panels, inadequate grounding, and a limited 100-amp service, which is well below what is required to safely handle modern electrical loads. The scope of work included a new service cable from the utility pole to the house, a new main panel with surge protection at the meter, two new junction boxes, and a secondary panel. The home was upgraded to a 200-amp service with all new breakers throughout the house, including new 240V and 120V circuits for the HVAC system. Dedicated upgraded circuits were also installed for the range and dryer. All grounding and connections were brought fully up to current code. Kenny and Kyle were the primary electricians on site, and they are a clear asset to Mr. Electric. They are hardworking, professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Working on a 1940 home is never straightforward, and this one presented multiple challenges due to older construction, questionable past modifications, and outdated safety practices. Despite this, the crew worked late both days to ensure I had power restored at the end of the first day and to fully complete the project on the second day. Coordination between Mr. Electric, the HVAC company, and the electric utility was smooth and effective. The HVAC system is now operating properly, the electrical system is fully up to code, and the risk of electrical issues has been dramatically reduced. This was not an inexpensive project, but given the condition of the house and the scope of work, it was necessary and done correctly. I requested three electrical quotes. One company never followed up with a proposal. The second provided a quote that was not low, but despite the price, they did not demonstrate the level of confidence, technical understanding, or professionalism that Kenny Hollis showed from the start. Mr. Electric’s proposal was higher, but the scope was clearly defined and thoroughly explained upfront. That transparency gave me confidence that the job was properly assessed from the beginning, rather than discovering additional costs later through change orders or last-minute additions once work was already underway. I would confidently recommend Mr. Electric for major electrical upgrades, especially in older homes where experience, code knowledge, and attention to safety truly matter.

DONE RIGHT PROMISE

We stand by the promise to do the job right. Our independently owned franchise owners will perform services in a professional, workmanlike manner, consistent with industry standards. If you believe the job was not done right, contact your local franchise owner within 1 year and they will re-perform the services at no additional cost to you. In the event you are still not satisfied, our liability is limited as set forth below.

DISCLAIMER OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES

Because we are a services company and do not manufacture products, we only warrant their services with the “Done Right Promise.” Except as otherwise provided or where prohibited by law, we provide no further warranty as to the services and all third-party manufactured materials or goods provided or installed in connection with the services are provided without warranties by us of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our independently owned franchise owners make no representations and expressly disclaim the above warranties including any as to the reliability, quality, or performance of any third-party manufactured materials or goods or installed in connection with our services.

EXCLUSIONS

The “Done Right Promise” is subject to the following exclusions: (i) services that you request be re-performed that were not originally agreed to be performed for you; (ii) losses or inability to perform arising out of acts of nature or other force majeure event; (iii) losses or inability to perform arising from the acts or omissions of you or a third party; (vi) losses or inability to perform arising from a manufacturer’s or a product’s defects; (v) losses or inability to perform due to unforeseeable or latent defects in the premises or property; and/or (vi) services that you request be re-performed but for which you have not previously paid in full.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED SO WE CAN PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AT A REASONABLE PRICE. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED OR WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY SHALL WE, OUR FRANCHISE OWNERS, OR OUR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR CLAIM ARISING FROM INJURY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, PRODUCT DEFECT OR FAILURE, ACTS OR OMISSIONS BY YOU OR A THIRD PARTY, LOSS OF USE, PROFITS, OR OPPORTUNITY, AND/OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE, OUR FRANCHISE OWNERS, OR OUR AGENTS HAD NOTICE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS, CLAIM, OR DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE ABOVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, IT MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS. IN THE EVENT THE ABOVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY DOES NOT PRECLUDE LIABILITY OR IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE, YOU AGREE YOUR EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE REMEDY FROM US, OUR FRANCHISE OWNERS, OR OUR AGENTS IS LIMITED TO THE MONETARY AMOUNT PREVIOUSLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICES.
