We will always start with an electrical safety inspection to assess your home's electrical system's age, condition, performance, safety, and energy efficiency. We will then need to determine if adjustments need to be made to your home’s electrical system, such as installing a dedicated circuit or outlet, installing a transformer, or upgrading your electrical panel. If we hardwire the system, we will wire the charger’s power supply to your home’s electrical panel. We may need to drill holes or dig trenches to run these wires. Otherwise, we will install a 240V plug. We will then place and connect the electric vehicle charger. Most people have the charger installed on the wall in their garage. We will then configure the electric vehicle charging system and ensure it works properly and safely. We will go over all instructions for use, maintenance, and warranty information.
