Mr. Electric is teaming up with the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) to help promote electrical safety during National Electrical Safety Month this May by increasing employee awareness of the electrical hazards that may exist in an office setting.

The modern office environment has changed dramatically in recent years as a result of new office technologies and an increased reliance on electrical equipment. Improper use of this workplace equipment can cause serious electrical shock and burn injuries.

May is National Electrical Safety Month, and Mr. Electric is teaming up with the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) to launch a public awareness campaign to educate key audiences about the steps that can be taken to prevent electrical fires, injuries, and fatalities in the home and the workplace.

(WACO, TEXAS – JANUARY 15, 2010) As the global economy wrestles with energy questions, household consumers to corporate decision-makers seek cheaper and renewable sources of energy with which to fuel the future. The overall goal is to reduce U.S. dependency on foreign energy sources and create new domestic industries and job growth. Mr. Electric and its 200+ franchise owners are making efforts to lead the way and are proud to announce a new solar power certification program with partner company Essco Wholesale Electric.

When the concept was launched in 1994, it was an entirely new idea in the service industry: professional electrical service franchises backed up by a corporate structure designed to support and mentor them. Sixteen years later, Mr. Electric has grown to over 200 locations worldwide (including the U.S., U.K, Portugal, Australia and Ireland).

(WACO, TEXAS – MARCH 10, 2009) Long after the din and roar of battles fought almost twenty years ago has gone silent, the challenges faced by many returning veterans echo in daily life. For U.S. Army combat medic and Desert Shield/Desert Storm veteran Jeff Cooper, facing and overcoming these challenges both personally and as a family leader is a study in courage, faith and commitment.

What do a cherished national charity, a coast-to-coast electrical services provider and the throaty roar of a custom chopper have in common? From now till July 15, 2009, the franchise family at Mr. Electric wants you to find out!
